fire, fire everywhere

There's a bad fire in South Lake Tahoe. As of this morning, it's 40% contained, which is much better than yesterday when it was less than 5%. My parents live about an hour away, so they're fine, but report that things are pretty smokey. Of far less concern, but still good news, is that the cabin in North Shore and still untouched. From what I know, it is only homes (albeit quite a lot of them) that have been destroyed, and no injuries reported. Good news in an otherwise horrible situation.Thanks to everyone who's inquired.
