As Jon Stewart said, "They may hate us, but they love our music." Now, I'm watching the Closing Ceremonies, and an instrumental version of "YMCA" just played while a group of clowns and what looked to be World War I pilots in white dusters danced. I know that the Closing Ceremonies are decidedly relaxed, especially compared to the solemnity of the Opening Ceremonies - some athletes entering the piazza are even wearing red clown noses and/or riding on each others shoulders - but YMCA? Really? However, I did like the "Flames of Passion" skaters. They were pretty cool, and the dresses of the escorts are, I think, lovely. I am going to miss the Olympics; I love the music, the sports, all of it. Ahh, at least now they're playing Italian music. That's more like it.And is it me, or is Joey Cheek, the speedskater who carried in the American flag, really hot?
