I'm in a sim today, deploying a fake payload. For us, we're busy up until it's deployed, and after that, it's really quiet. Paul sat in with me because 1) it's a difficult sim until deploy 2)I've never done it before and 3) I had less than a week to prepare (in addition to all other responsibilities, which were definitely not inconsequential). He's also smarter than sin, so his presence was much needed and greatly appreciated. I knew that there would be much flailing on my part, but, apparently, I did okay given the circumstances.

I know that saying that I didn't suck as much as was expected may not sound like high praise, but it is actually v. complimentary.

Only an hour left in the sim, which is good, as I have a wicked headache.
