Valentine's Day, methinks, is a sucky holiday all around. In a relationship, there's the pressure to get the "right" gift and all; even more so than birthday or Christmas. Not, it's an in-your-face reminder of status as a lowly singleton. The only winners are the greeting card, floral, jewelry and chocolate companies. As for me and B., our V-day celebrations consisted of poutine, wine, Westminster Dog Show and Star Wars. Would have been Serenity, too, if I hadn't loaned it out. If it wasn't before, now it is official - we are such dorks.Oh yes, and I sold my truck tonight. Good price and I didn't need two cars, but...I'm already missing it dreadfully. =(
