My family loves to watch movies. Nearly every night I was home, we watched a movie. One night, we couldn't decide what to watch so flipping through the TV, we saw the beginning of Sound of Music. Neither my sister nor a visiting friend had seen the whole thing, so we figured, okay, why not? Great movie, it's 7, can't be more than three hours, and we'll eat dinner while watching it. Nope, it was four. Four hours! With commercials! By the last hour, it was more of the final push at the end of the race than anything else to finish watching it. I love that movie, but seriously, four hours. That's one long movie when you can't fast-forward through the commercials.And yes, this is the most exciting thing that I have to write about.
