The vote was unanimous that I take the miles - from all of, oh, the four people who read this site. :) Most thought that it was a no-brainer, but one person did understand my dilemma.On Saturday, I bought the tickets. I was still kicking myself for waiting too long and having to pay $50 extra, and then I saw that the outbound flight dropped from 25K miles to 12.5K miles - exact one that I wanted, reducing my overall mileage spent from 47.5K to 35K miles, so I feel a little better. Probably still not the greatest return ever, but throw in the fact that part of the trip is spent in 1st class, I really can't complain. :)
