and i think to myself, what a wonderful world

More fun with quizzes. This one, Global Footprint, brought to you courtesy of Sarah's sister. It determines how many Earth's would be necessary if everyone on this Earth lived exactly as you do. I put in two cases: current situation in Bremen (public transportation, small city, three people in an apartment) and Houston (no public transportation, very large city, house).

Results:
Bremen, Germany - 2.5 Earths (not bad)
Houston, Texas - 5.7 Earths (v. bad)

Like Jen and Sarah, I attribute the main difference to the fact that Houston has almost no public transportation whatsoever, whereas in Bremen - and even Strasbourg - I have ridden in a car maybe once or twice a month. And that's usually been when we've rented one.

Happy Bastille Day!
