I was going to be social, take the dogs for walks in the evening. Becca wasn't going to have to tiptoe around the house to keep from waking light sleeper-me. I was going to work on stuff for the office. But there are always things that I need to do when I get home, or on the way. Post Office. Grocery Store. Gas. Bank. Send (work) e-mails. Eat. Maybe watch a bit of TV. I might read a book, and when I do, I look up after what I thought was only twenty minutes and find three hours have gone by. Suddenly, it's 6 p.m. in the evening. How did it get to be 6 p.m.? What have I done with my day? And so the cycle goes. I had plans this week.
