The Fifty States that Rhyme

Today we held a UN Session on the Prevention of Weapons in Outer Space. It ended not long ago, and we pretty cool. We had quite a bit of debate, but I'm sure we managed to get a lot more work done than is accomplished in the actual UN! I was here until 10 the last two nights in preparation for today. Glad it's finally over!

Tonight is Culture Night. I made gnocchi, and plan to make bruschetta - that's simple, so it should not be too time-consuming, which is good, considering that it's supposed to start about 6:30.

At 1 AM, Nick, Ruey, Chris, Nicole, me, and Nicole's friend are catching a bus to Prague, Czech Republic. It's an 8-hour ride. Nick found a sweet place for us to stay Saturday night, and then Sunday at 6 PM we catch the bus back. Yes, we're crazy.

Sarah did it, so here's the map of states I've visited (in red). This doesn't include the states in which I've visited the airport and nothing else - Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, and Massachusetts. Like Sarah, I didn't do the world map because it's pathetically thin with only North and Central America and Western Europe in red; before this year, I would even have the latter.

It's actually quite warm today - all the way up to 17C. To think that two weeks ago there was snow on the ground. And I thought Houston had crazy weather...

It's 1.27139 USD to the Euro. Bleh.
